ABIA – The Governor, Dr Alex Otti has identified praise as a powerful catalyst capable of attracting God’s attention and unlocking multiple doors of blessings.
Governor Otti who disclosed this at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Akanu Ngwa District Headquarters, Ugwunagbo LGA, during the Thanksgiving and praise concert tagged, “Praise Until Something Happens (PUSH)”, organised by the Mayor of Ugwunagbo Local Government Area, Elder Chiemela Wagbara, to mark his one year in office, emphasized that sincere praise remains a strategic pathway to experiencing God’s favour, intervention and upliftment.

The Governor represented by his Chief of Staff, Pastor Caleb Ajagba, described the Ugwunagbo LGA Mayor as a committed and result-driven leader, and commended him for his dedication to service delivery, noting that the steady transformation across the LGA is a testament to purposeful leadership and collective effort.
The State Chief Executive further noted that the successes recorded in Ugwunagbo LGA align with the broader vision of his administration for statewide growth and renewal, and enjoined Abians who have not yet obtained their Permanent Voter Cards to take advantage of the ongoing voter registration exercise across the state.
In his remarks, the Deputy Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Mr Augustine Okezie, while commending Governor Otti’s visionary leadership, also applauded the initiative of Ugwunagbo LGA Mayor, affirming that the praise concert reflects a deep understanding of the role of faith in governance.

In his speech, the Mayor of Ugwunagbo LGA, Elder Chiemela Wagbara, expressed gratitude to God for the successes recorded within his first year in office, and described the praise concert as his personal and official demonstration of thanksgiving, acknowledging that every milestone achieved across the council area is rooted in divine grace and the collective commitment of the people.
Reaffirming his commitment to sustained service delivery, the Ugwunagbo Council Boss also lauded Governor Otti for providing an enabling environment that has empowered local government councils to function more effectively, pointing out that the Governor’s support, transparency and people-centered policies have significantly contributed to the developmental strides being witnessed across the council.

The event which featured prayers for the Governor, Ugwunagbo Mayor and the state, handover of Hummer Bus Ambulance and operational vehicle to the council by the Mayor, inspection of ongoing construction of office complexes at the council headquarters by the Governor’s representative, also attracted the presence of the Mayor of Isiala Ngwa North LGA, Ambassador Innocent Uruakpa among other distinguished personalities.
