ABIA – The Chief of Staff to the Governor, Pastor Caleb Ajagba, has condoled Chief Victor Georgeson over the death of his mother, Mrs. Rose Mjioleke Georgeson.

In his condolence message during a funeral service conducted by the Seventh-Day Adventist Church at Ihie High School, Ihie in Isiala Ngwa North LGA, Pastor Ajagba described death as an inevitable end that awaits all mortals and urged the family to take solace in the impactful life their mother lived.

The Chief of Staff to the Governor, represented by the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Labour Matters, Sir Godson Anucha, while describing the deceased as a virtuous woman, a devoted Christian and a loving mother, noted that her legacy of humility, kindness and service to humanity would continue to speak for generations.

He further enjoined the bereaved family to remain united, uphold the good values she instilled in them, and ensure they continue to live lives worthy of emulation, while praying God to grant the soul of the deceased eternal rest.

Also in his condolence message, the member representing Isiala Ngwa North State Constituency, Chief Ugochukwu Iheonunekwu, described the late Mrs. Georgeson as a pillar of strength and a mother to many, urging the family to be comforted by her exemplary life and to sustain her legacy of love and discipline.

In a homily titled, “And the King Could Not Sleep Because God Remembered Mordecai,” the President of Seventh-day Adventist Church, Aba North Conference, Pastor Henry Nwankwo, challenged all to live righteous lives, remain steadfast in faith, and trust in God’s divine timing, noting that God never forgets the good deeds of His children.

In a vote of thanks, the first son of the deceased, Chief Victor Georgeson, described his late mother as a caring, selfless and God-fearing woman who dedicated her life to the service of God and humanity, and appreciated Pastor Ajagba, Chief Iheonunekwu, his family, the church, and all who came to sympathize and support them during their moment of grief.

Aged 83, late Mrs. Rose Mjioleke Georgeson is survived by children, grandchildren and a host of other relatives.

The funeral service, which featured prayers for the bereaved family and condolence messages, also attracted the presence of the Vice Chancellor of Clifford University, Prof. Chimezie Omeonu, among other distinguished personalities.
