The Ukwa LA Ngwa Development Initiative has inaugurated her new National Executive with Chief Anthony Ezenwoko as President.

Speaking at the End-of-the-year meeting of the forum held at Pastor Ajagba’s countryhome, Umuezegu Nsulu in Isiala Ngwa North LGA, the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Pastor Caleb Ajagba stressed the need for all to work together in laying a solid foundation for the development of Ukwa La Ngwa bloc.

Pastor Ajagba explained that their journey as Ukwa La Ngwa people is one of resilience, unity, and the unwavering spirit to achieve greatness, also restated their readiness to partner the State Government and all relevant stakeholders in advancing the course of Ukwa La Ngwa and creating a lasting impact for future generations.

The Chief of Staff to the Governor commended Governor Alex Otti for his administration’s unwavering support and commitment to the development of Ukwa La Ngwa nation, and reiterated the associations commitment and determination to partnering Abia State Government and other educational institutions in creating programs that will equip the youths with the necessary skills needed to succeed in the 21st century.

He further charged the new executive of Ukwa La Ngwa Development Initiative to see their inauguration as a call to serve and foster ways to stimulate economic growth, Infrastructural and youth development, Industrialization while creating programs that promote cultural exchange, tourism and arts as well as ensure that the world sees Ukwa La Ngwa for the vibrant, diverse, and proud people that they are.

In his acceptance speech, the newly inaugurated National President of Ukwa La Ngwa Development Initiative, Chief Anthony Ezenwoko noted that their inauguration is not just a personal achievement, but a testament to the collective strength, unity, and vision of their people.

Chief Ezenwoko expressed appreciation to the members for entrusting them with the important role and pledged their commitment to carrying their new task with utmost dedication and integrity.

Other members of the executive include, Mrs Matilda Anyamele – Vice President, Rev. Dr Okechukwu Mgbeahuru – Financial Secretary, Dr Alex Alozie – Treasurer, Dr Emmanuel Azumara – Assistant Secretary while Prof. Ositadinma Ugbogu will serve as Secretary.

Our correspondent reports that the meeting which attracted the presence of notable personalities from Ukwa LA Ngwa bloc featured the passage of a vote of confidence on Governor Otti for his Infrastructural strides across all facets of the state economy, the unveiling of the members of the Board of Trustees of Ukwa LA Ngwa Development Initiative and adoption of a motto for Ukwa LA Ngwa.
