The New Head of Service, Mr. Benson Ojiekere has emphasized the importance of integrity, trust, sacrifice, and expedited service delivery.
Addressing the Inner Staff, Office of the Head of Service, during his maiden meeting, Mr. Ojiekere charged them to uphold the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and ethics in the discharge of their duties.
He described trust as a fundamental component of effective service delivery, adding that staff must work to earn and maintain public trust.
The Head of Service described the office of the Head of Service as the heartbeat of the Service and as such should be a pacesetter in providing efficient and effective service delivery, and asserted that the staff must be willing to make sacrifices to achieve set goals of the government.
Mr. Ojiekere who appreciated the Governor, Dr Alex Otti for finding him fit to serve as the arrow head of the Service, solicited the unreserved loyalty and cooperation of the entire civil/public servants in achieving the transformation policies of the present administration.
In a vote of thanks, the Director of Information, Office of the Head of Service, Adaeze Ralph Igbokwe who expressed gratitude to the Head of Service for his words of encouragement and guidance to strive for excellence and assured of their absolute support and loyalty to galvanize the Service.
