The Abia State government has restated its readiness to continue to partner relevant organisations, individuals and communities in driving development across rural areas.

The Chief of Staff to the Governor, Pastor Caleb Ajagba who stated this when he received the Council of Elders from Umuagom Afarata Ibeku at Government House Umuahia, reiterated that Governor Alex Otti is passionate and intentional about achieving anything he sets out to do.
Pastor Ajagba explained that development can only thrive in a place that has the right leadership hence the need for them to remain united and continue partnering the administration of Governor Otti in bridging gaps in infrastructure, healthcare, education, and other essential sectors for more efficient and impactful development at the grassroots level.
The Chief of Staff to the Governor applauded the people of Umuagom Afarata Ibeku for their sustained support to the present administration in the state, and assured that government will look into the issues they have raised.
In their speeches earlier, the Eze-Elect of Umuagom Afarata Ibeku, Chief Godwin Uzoka, Mr Uchenna Ebochuo, Elder Ngozi Lewechi and Elder Dan Lewechi while commending Governor Alex Otti for his massive infrastructural and developmental strides across the state, enjoined him to sustain the tempo.
They also used the opportunity to appeal to the state government to assist their community with solar powered street lights, job opportunities for their youths, political appointments among others while pledging their unalloyed support to the Governor Otti led administration in the state.
