ABIA – Governor Alex Otti, has charged Abians to embrace hard work, integrity and prudent living as veritable tools for sustainable development and personal fulfillment.

Governor Otti who gave the charge at Umuawala Abayi Isingwa, in Isiala Ngwa North Local Government Area, during the house warming ceremony of Mr and Mrs Stanley Nwogu, described the completion of the building as a testament to discipline, perseverance and God’s grace.

The Governor represented by his Chief of Staff, Pastor Caleb Ajagba, congratulated the Nwogu family on the milestone, pointing out that owning a home remains a major achievement that reflects years of sacrifice and responsible planning.

The State Chief Executive while reaffirming his administration’s commitment to providing an enabling environment for investments to thrive across the state, urged the citizens, especially those in the diaspora, to continue investing at home, noting that such investments contribute to grassroots development, job creation and community stability.

In his remarks, the Chairman, Abia State Diaspora Commission, Chief Okey Agbara, applauded Mr Stanley Nwogu for believing in his State and choosing to invest in his ancestral home. Chief Agbara noted that the event underscored the growing confidence of Abians in the state’s new direction, adding that the Diaspora Commission would continue to encourage Abians abroad to channel their resources towards meaningful projects that impact local communities.

Responding on behalf of his family, the house owner, Mr Stanley Nwogu, appreciated Governor Otti and other dignitaries for honouring the invitation. He described the house as a dream fulfilled through God’s grace and years of dedication, while pledging continued support for initiatives that promote peace, unity and development in Isiala Ngwa North and the State at large.
