ABIA – Governor Alex Otti, has felicitated the traditional ruler of Akwuanunu Autonomous Community in Isiala Ngwa North Local Government Area, Eze Dr. Uche Aliche, on the occasion of his 80th birthday celebration.

Speaking during the birthday celebration held at the residence of the celebrant in Umulenwa Nsulu, Governor Otti extolled the virtues of Eze Aliche, describing him as a worthy son of Abia State whose life of service has positively impacted humanity.

The Governor represented by his Chief of Staff, Pastor Caleb Ajagba, further described the octogenarian as a renowned medical doctor, intelligent, hardworking and forthright traditional ruler whose leadership style has continued to inspire the younger generation while fostering peace, unity and development across Umuakwu Nsulu Community.

The State Chief Executive commended Eze Aliche for his selfless decision to return home after graduating from medical school to establish a Cottage Hospital in Nbawsi, an initiative that has over the years provided accessible healthcare services to the people of Nsulu and its environs.
He enjoined the people, especially the youths, to emulate the sterling qualities of dedication, humility and service exemplified by the celebrant, noting that Eze Aliche has distinguished himself both in the medical profession and in traditional leadership.

The Governor further wished him more fruitful years in good health and strength to continue serving God and humanity.

Responding, the celebrant and traditional ruler of Umuakwu Nsulu Autonomous Community, Eze Dr. Uche Aliche, expressed gratitude to God for His mercies, protection and grace over his life in the past 80 years, attributing his achievements and longevity to divine favour.
Eze Aliche also appreciated Governor Alex Otti for the honour bestowed on him, as well as members of his family, traditional rulers, friends and well-wishers who came from far and near to celebrate with him.

The 80th birthday celebration which featured cutting of cake, goodwill messages, prayers for the celebrant and his family, also attracted the presence of the chairman, Isiala Ngwa North Traditional Rulers Council, Eze Okechukwu Atulobi, traditional rulers from within and outside Nsulu clan, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Elder Chibuike Nwokeukwu, members of Oha Nsulu Development Union, members of Umuakwu Maintenance Taskforce, Greater Nsulu Youth Development Forum among other distinguished personalities.
