The Chief of Staff to the Governor of Abia State, Pastor Caleb Ajagba has commended Governor Alex Otti, for establishing the Abia Leadership Academy.

Pastor Ajagba who gave the commendation at Government College Umuahia, while lecturing at the Abia Leadership Academy Cohort 3 on the theme, “The Demands of Stewardship,” thanked the Governor for the vision in investing in the lives of the teenagers and young leaders of the State.

The Chief of Staff to the Governor while noting that it is an honour for all those invited to share their perspectives in the noble vision of raising a generation of principled, disciplined and transformational leaders through the Abia Leadership Academy, applauded the exemplary life of vision, focus, sacrifice, discipline, competence and integrity of Governor Otti which have continued to inspire not only the younger generation in Abia but also countless young people across the nation and Africa.

He disclosed that the unwavering commitment of the Governor to good governance and purposeful leadership provides practical lessons that no classroom alone can teach, adding that it is a privilege to draw from the Governor’s wealth of experience and leadership philosophy in grooming a new generation of leaders who will embrace stewardship, excellence, accountability and selfless service as enduring values.

Pastor Ajagba while describing the initiative as a strategic investment in the future of the State and a lasting legacy that will shape the character, mindset and leadership capacity of generations yet unborn, disclosed that by intentionally preparing young people for responsible leadership, Governor Otti is laying a firm foundation for sustainable development and ensuring that the ideals of integrity, innovation and public service remain deeply rooted in Abia’s future.

The Chief of Staff to the Governor further prayed God to continue to strengthen the Governor with wisdom, good health and uncommon grace as he leads the State to greater heights.

The lecture which featured question and answer sessions also had the President of Abia Leadership Academy, Prof. Kenneth Kalu, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Public Communication, Mr Dodoh Okafor among other facilitators in attendance.
